WHAT'S HAPPENING

The Cultural District is getting creepy! Spend the evening exploring the Library, Museum, Whole Backstage Theatre, and the surrounding neighborhood for spooky activities, stories, games, treats, and plenty of Halloween surprises. Wander from place to place, trick-or-treat along the way, and see what’s lurking around every corner!

Guntersville Public Library

Little Feet Harvest Maze

A little maze for little feet! Our Gilbreath-McCain Community Center will be transformed into a cozy harvest maze made especially for our youngest visitors. Little ones can crawl and wander their way through straw bales, fall fun, and a few gentle surprises—with no big scares along the way.

Best for: Toddlers through early elementary
Location: Gilbreath-McCain Community Center (formerly known as our auditorium)

Lost in the Stacks

Something has gone terribly wrong in the Library… the monsters have escaped from their books! Make your way through the darkened stacks, where classic creatures and literary monsters are lurking around every corner. Find each monster and collect its special candy token to help send it back where it belongs—inside its story!

Best for: Older children, teens, & brave grown-ups
Location: Guntersville Public Library. Enter through our amphitheater entrance, exit to Gilbreath Street.

Before you venture back out into the night, stop by concessions for a free cup of cider.

NEIGHBORHOOD TRICK-OR-TREATING

The treats don’t stop at the Cultural District attractions! Take a stroll through the surrounding neighborhood and visit our official Creeps & Treats stops along the way.

Look for the orange bows! Participating neighbors will have a bright orange bow on their mailbox to let trick-or-treaters know they’re an official stop and ready for visitors.

You may find plenty of other neighborhood homes joining in the Halloween fun, too—so bring your treat bag and enjoy a little old-fashioned neighborhood trick-or-treating as you make your way through the district!
