Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Guntersville Public Library is a 501(c)(3) membership organization for people interested in books and libraries. Our purpose is to stimulate interest in the Library, purchase Library materials, and support programs and events hosted by the Guntersville Public Library.
Since its inception over forty years ago, Friends of the Guntersville Public Library has donated over $500,000 to the Library. We are able to accomplish many of our goals by distributing funds raised from the annual book sale, the Bookstore, and from membership dues.

Bookstore
The Friends Bookstore is a vital source of funding. It is operated entirely by volunteers and all revenue goes to support the Library. We have books of all kinds, movies, audiobooks, music, magazines, and comics.
