Summer Reading 2025
Get ready to Color Our World this summer at the Guntersville Public Library! Our Youth and Adult Summer Reading programs kick off soon, packed with creativity, discovery, and of course—great books.
Kids: Ages 0-11

Ages 4-11
After registering, don't forget to pick up your summer reading bag! Included in your bag will be white butterflies to color. Have you read three picture books or easy readers? Pick your favorite title and write it on your butterfly, and decorate it however you wish. If you've read one chapter book, write that title down and do the same. Each butterfly submitted at the front desk is worth a raffle ticket. If the book you read was a longer one, you will receive an extra raffle ticket. Raffle tickets can then be turned in for the raffle of your choice! Prizes TBA.

Raffle Tickets for Prizes
Register for Summer Reading and pick up your registration bag! Included in your bag you will find special index cards. Write a review for a book (at least three sentences long) and turn it in at the front desk for a raffle ticket.
If it is a book from the Guntersville Library you have recently checked out, earn an extra raffle ticket when you submit the review when you return the book! Our favorite reviews may be posted online and added to our review display. Use the raffle tickets you earn to enter for a chance to win the prize (or prizes!) of your choice.
