Have you ever wanted to be part of a story? Our storyteller and artist, Kristin, will transform volunteers using the magic of face paint into characters live as she weaves her tale of fantasy and adventure! Watch the story unfold before your eyes, and, if you're lucky, become a part of it yourself! Face-painting will be available for all after the performance.

Egyptian enthusiast Ron Anglin once checked out every book about Egypt from his local library as a youngster. Now he brings that knowledge to a fun comedy juggling show using props from around the world!
Teens
Registration & Prizes
Register for Summer Reading May 28th through June 30th. While supplies last, the first 100+ people to register will get to decorate their own book bag. Additionally, you will also receive a free book and a reading log to track how many days you have read. All you have to do is add a tally mark for every 30 minutes you read a day. At the end of ten days, add a tally mark per hour read. Everyone will get to draw a small prize for reading 10 days, and if you have read at least 10 hours, you will get a raffle ticket for one of the grand prizes. You may draw for prizes on Wednesdays/Saturdays.
Grand prizes include Crystal Bookends | Dinosaur Neon Lamp | Microwavable Dinosaur Stuffie
For additional raffle tickets, turn in a handwritten book review at the library (limited to books from JF, or books & graphic novels from the YA section). You will receive one raffle ticket per review. You can also create a piece of art or craft something inspired by a book, and turn in either the art or a picture of the art/craft at the library or tag us on Instagram. Max 1 ticket for the summer. Lastly, take a picture of a favorite destination in Marshall County and share it on Instagram along with why you recommend it as a place to go. Max 1 ticket for the summer.
